Bandung, ditsp.itb.ac.id. The holiday is almost over, but the pandemic is not over yet. It has been more than two years since all activities were within limitations including educational activities. However, the enthusiasm for studying does not stop just because the situation is always dynamic and limited. Odd semester lectures are about to begin. In response to the situation that is starting to return to normal, this semester the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) will hold lectures with an offline mix system.

The 2022/2023 academic year was enthusiastically welcomed by new students by looking for a place to live. The best children from all over the region who placed their choice at the Bandung Institute of Technology are also looking for the right place for self-development. The ITB dormitory is back to facilitate students, especially TPB students by reopening registration for the Period of August-December 2022. The dormitories under the auspices of ITB, namely Sangkuriang Dormitory, Kidang Pananjung Dormitory, Kanayakan Dormitory, and Jatinangor Dormitory are currently organizing re-registration activities.

The ITB dormitory is also adapting to new habits. At this time, each room will be occupied by two residents. In this New Normal period, itb dormitory still pays attention to health protocols. One of them is by limiting the number of participants who re-register every day with the system of registering on the web first. The ITB Jatinangor Dormitory serves re-register participants with a maximum of 100 people / day while the other ITB Dormitories serve 60 participants / day, each of which is divided into four sessions. In addition, the ITB Dormitory also encourages residents who have just stayed to self-isolate for three days. Facilities to support health protocols have also been provided such as hand sanitizers, temperature measuring devices, barriers when re-registering, and so on.

“The dormitory is a complex coaching platform. Students are not only fostered in the realm of counseling, but also in their daily lives. Hopefully, the coaching in the dormitory will not be an obstacle but a great fuel in undergoing dynamization during lectures,” said General Coordinator of the ITB Ganesha Dormitory, Tomi Nugroho.
