ITB dormitory is one of the facilities prepared by bandung Institute of Technology to support the activities of its students, especially residential needs. The quality and quantity of facilities and services for residents is an absolute requirement that must be owned by the dormitory in its efforts to meet the needs of students. In the last three months, ITB Dormitory held minor repairs and renovations in several facilities and physical buildings. No exception Kidang Pananjung Dormitory which contains male students.

The dormitory located on Jalan Cisitu Lama XI is carrying out repairs and replacement of the porous roof, front garden repairs, the creation of new waterways, and the repair of clean water reservoirs. “This improvement is aimed at providing maximum service for dormitory residents either directly or indirectly. For example, the roof tile is immediately replaced if it already looks cracked or porous to avoid water leaking into the occupants’ room, especially when it is still the rainy season. Also the repair of water reservoirs so that the distribution of clean water to water supply points such as bathrooms, toilets, mosques, and parks can be smoother”, concluded Juju as the managing coordinator of Kidang Pananjung Dormitory.

“This kind of minor improvement should always be done by the dormitory so that residents feel fully served, either directly or indirectly,” said Arif, one of the dormitory residents. “Although the residents are relatively few at this time due to pandemic conditions, we still try to provide services and provide decent and comfortable facilities for residents in the dormitory,” juju said.
